Cafe Volo, tucked away at 335 Sheldon Way in Westhampton Beach, stands out as a delightful culinary escape that perfectly marries stunning views with comforting fare. Nestled near a small airport, patrons are often treated to the sight of private jets landing, adding an exhilarating backdrop to the dining experience.
Reviews are a testament to its charm. Jivan Ramesh describes it as a cozy spot with good food, while Dave G praises the diner-style breakfasts as some of the best he's ever had. The standout dish, according to Daniel Higgins, is the Eggs Benedict—hailed as potentially the best he's encountered. Despite some mixed feelings about specific items, like the egg-based taco trio mentioned by Tara, the overall atmosphere and flavor profiles are positively received.
Guests appreciate the fair portion-to-price ratio and commend the service, enhancing the welcoming vibe of the cafe. With its blend of hearty American dishes and unique visual experiences, Cafe Volo is indeed a standout destination for those seeking a delicious meal accompanied by captivating sights. Your visit here is sure to be memorable, making it a must-try for food enthusiasts and airplane aficionados alike.

I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem, and the views were incredible—I even saw a private jet land! As for the food, I ordered the popular taco trio but didn’t enjoy it, as the tacos were actually made with eggs. I wish I’d known that before ordering. I also tried the baked clams; they weren’t cooked to perfection but were still tasty. Overall, it was a good experience.

Cozy place with good food and a great view. We got distracted on the way out by the many plovers.

Sometimes, the hidden gems are worth seeking out. Google Maps had a hard time getting into this place, but it was worth it. My wife had the breakfast burrito, and I had the Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict were made perfectly and dare might, I say, probably in the top 5 that I have ever had. Next to a small airport. It was a nice experience.

Absolutely incredible. Seriously one of the best diner style breakfasts I’ve ever had. I’m an airplane enthusiast and it was surreal seeing the amount of privately owned jets and the size of such jets. That alone is worth a visit, but tot op it off with an incredible and perfectly cooked simple American breakfast— amazing!!

Some of the best food I've had in NY. Portion to price value is fair. Flavor is great. Service is great. As long as you don't expect huge portions you will love taking the time to stop by here (oh, and follow the signs for the airport instead of Google's directions).

Great little spot at the Gabreski Airport in WHB! Great staff and the food is out of this world. The atmosphere is good, cute. You can see the small planes from the window. If they upgrade the aesthetic a bit, it would greatly improve the feel and vibe. Overall, highly recommend breakfast here, even at the bar. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and delicious breakfast at Cafe Volvo. A unique dining experience that overlooks the runway at Francis S. Gabreski airport. The staff is friendly and the food is prepared to order. The atmosphere is small and cozy. The SOS breakfast is smothered in rich, creamy, southern gravy with a hint of heat. The waffles are fresh and not super hard/crispy. Weather permitting, there is outdoor dining on the patio. Enjoy!!!!

Amazing stop. Wonderful location with great views. Fun place to bring kids and let them see the planes come and go. The food is delicious, and the short rib omelet has substantial amounts of meat, with the right ratio of onions and cheese. The sos is always a good choice. Relaxed atmosphere, a treat at Gabreski Airport .
